This is not a ‘commerce’ website and there is no ‘shopping cart’. This allows us to keep our costs and overheads down enabling us us to pass on greater savings especially to our school customers.

Please send your enquiry or requirements including requests for quotations, by email, fax or post - or simply telephone us!

We welcome enquiries and orders, however small, from private individual customers Payment is by cheque (UK customers only).

Credit/debit card payments can be made via PayPal, There are no extra charges but we cannot guarantee to offer a discount, customers do not need to have a PayPal account and the transaction is quick, simple and secure. All we need is your email address. If in doubt please contact us for details.

We welcome enquiries and orders from UK and International schools, colleges, other establishments and libraries.

Schools, colleges, other establishments and libraries can post or fax or email an official order. Educational establishments are normally offered 30 days credit terms. See our Terms and Conditions      Settlement by CHEQUE OR BY BACS

We also regularly receive orders by fax, telephone and email from individual teachers and school secretaries. Provided such orders are obviously bona fide and we have the name of the originator, an official order number, although preferable, is not always necessary.

CAN’T FIND WHAT YOU WANT?. Let us save you valuable time and do the searching for you. Also, we know most schools prefer to keep paperwork to a minimum. Putting everything on ONE ORDER with only ONE INVOICE to pay can help and we will do our best to source your particular requirements as soon as we can.

BUYING POWER! Teachers, Schools or Groups able to co-operate locally can get better terms than they might do individually. Although orders and invoices are dealt with school by school, if we can make one delivery to one, nominated, school there are big savings. FREE delivery almost guaranteed. (N.B. Any combination of Collins and Usborne titles the maximum delivery charge is £4 and FREE on orders worth £155 or more

Near SCHOOL HOLIDAYS it would also help us to know when deliveries cannot be made.

Delivery matters.

As most of our products are very generously discounted we cannot offer free delivery except on very light items like CD ROMs and large orders depending on the value and weight but we do waive all or part of the cost whenever possible. We are always happy to advise.

There are no packing or handling charges and UK postage is always minimal, 2nd class where possible - unless urgent. To keep postage costs down, orders are often split into two or more packages if a single parcel would exceed the 2nd class weight limit.

Other delivery options include 1st Class Mail, Next Day Special Delivery, 24 and 48 Hour Parcel Service.

International delivery is normally by Airmail subject to a maximum weight of 2 kg per single parcel. Surface Mail is not much less costly and obviously takes longer. Various courier solutions are also available e.g. Fedex. If in doubt please contact us.

Products are occasionally temporarily unavailable in which case you will be advised of any possible delay.

If an item is not going to be available for a time (e.g. being reprinted) you will only be invoiced for the goods dispatched. The missing item(s) will be delivered as soon as possible and invoiced separately.
